I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in the Metro Boston area since 2011. I received my bachelors in psychology from the University of Connecticut and my masters and doctoral degree from William James College (formerly MSPP). I have extensive experience treating adolescents, adults, couples, and families with complex diagnoses in a number of settings including outpatient clinics, college counseling centers and primary care.
My approach to therapy is integrative and relational and tailored to the individual and the problems presenting. I utilizes a variety of clinical approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based techniques, motivational interviewing, and exposure and response prevention to name a few. I am also a yoga instructor and student which helps me to integrate contemplative practices and breathing techniques into treatment when appropriate and/or requested.
